Christie Lawanda Williams-Harrell transitioned to her heavenly home on January 15, 2025, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia. She was born on August 7, 1969, to the late Oliver and Isabell Williams. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Williams; grandparents, Oscar and Ethel Moore, Dan and Christine Perry; great-grandparents, York and Cora Reynolds, Pledger and Rosie Jones; and brother-in-law, Antonio Wilson.

Christie attended Appling County High School. Later in life she graduated from Frenchburg Job Corps in Mariba, Kentucky. She was a faithful employee at Claxton Poultry for over ten years. She was a very lovable and outgoing person. Christie loved to hold meaningful conversations with people and spoil children, especially her beloved nieces and nephews.

Christie leaves to cherish wonderful memories with her one sister: Sonya Wilson of Warner Robins, GA; one brother: Oliver (Tambra) Williams of Killeen, TX; four aunts: Willie Mae Griner of Daleville, AL, Peggy Perry, Evelyn Jackson, and Tina Bell Lemon, all of Baxley, GA; three uncles: Danny Perry of Hawkinsville, GA, Ricky Perry and Marvin Perry, both of Baxley, GA; five nieces: Octavia Williams, Isabella Wilson, Layla Newkirk, Landesha Newkirk, and Kezaria Griner; three nephews: Antonio Wilson, Jr., Isaiah Williams, and Dominique Newkirk; two great-nieces: Nevaeh Wilson and Ariyah Wilson; three godchildren: Brittney Leggett, Dorian Scott, and Pai’shance Smith; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, friends, and coworkers..
