Mr. Eugene Anthony Tomberlin, Sr. was born in Baxley, Georgia on August 23, 1951 to the parentage of Mr. Vernie and Mrs. Carrie Bell Tomberlin. Eugene was a member of the last graduating class of the Appling County Consolidated High School in 1970. Mr. Tomberlin was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, FL and the First Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Baxley, GA. Eugene, an entrepreneur was the owner of Gene's Lawn and Landscaping Service. Mr. Tomberlin was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Louise Tomberlin Gibbs and Gerelene Tomberlin Williams. Brothers: Willie C. Tomberlin and Jureal Tomberlin. Granddaughter: Sariyah Marie Tomberlin. Eugene leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted son: Eugene Anthony Tomberlin, Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL.; Sisters: Birdie (Evrod) Scott of Hazlehurst, GA, Ann (Bobby) Locke of Hazlehurst, GA, Dorothy Brown of Baxley, GA. and Rita Faye Tomberlin of Baxley, GA. Brothers: Joe (Frances) Tomberlin of West Palm Beach, FL, Sammy (Dorothy) Tomberlin of Jacksonville, NC, Deron (Willie Mae) Tomberlin of Alma, GA, James Tomberlin of Vidalia, GA and Levern Tomberlin of Riviera Beach, FL.
