Grace Marva Joan Williams was born to Thomas and Imogene Crayton on March 24,1958. She attended Appling County High School. Grace was a devoted member of the Greater Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. She had a deep, unconditional love for her family and cherished spending time with them. Her favorite activities included attending church, shopping, and being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Grace was united in marriage to Jefthor Williams, and together they shared many years of love and commitment. Throughout her life, she was a caring wife, mother, sister, friend, and role model. She remained a steadfast presence in the lives of those around her until God called her home on February 21, 2025, where she entered eternal rest.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marsha Crayton, father and mother-in-law, Aurther and Varden Williams; aunts, Mozell Stone, Sarah Joe Coggin, Vera Mcroy and Grace Harris; Uncles, Steven Saliem, Colon Saliem, Jesse Saliem; brothers in law, Carl Williams and Glenn Dunlap; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Dunlap.
Grace’s laugh, love and memories will be forever cherished by her husband, Jefthor Williams of Baxley, GA; her children, Jefthor Jr. Williams (Joyce), Sherman Williams (Kathrine), Marvin Williams, Calvin Williams (Stephanie), Kathy Carter (Charles), Robin Williams, Victor Williams (Leslie), Demarcus Mobley (Shawn), Mozell Rook, Rodney Woods (Kayla), Kenny Woods (Erika), Tonya Reynold and Lekeshia Williams; brothers, Lenny Crayton, Bobby Crayton, and Steven Crayton, all of Baxley, GA; a sister, Meke Crayton of Baxley GA; an aunt, Sarah Ruth Mims; an uncle, Bob Saliem; brothers in-law, Pastor Elder Norris Williams, Terry Williams, Kenny Williams, Melvin Williams, Willy Jean Heller, Clinton Williams, Stefon Williams all of Baxley, GA; sisters in-law, Darlene Heller, Sister Gail Williams, Dianie Williams, Karen Williams, Vernell Williams, all of Baxley, GA; forty grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; special nieces, Bridgett Crayton, Latoya Crayton, Candi Williams, Eva Coley and Crystal Vann; a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
