John L. Sease

John Lee Sease was called to eternal rest on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

John was born December 21, 1943 to Albert and Essie Odgen Sease. He was the oldest of four children.

Loved ones proceeding him in death, his parents Albert & Essie Sease, Brother; Alton Sease, Sisters; Annie Doris Sease & Sarah Sease McCall. Uncles; Omie, Mack, Frank , and John Otis Ogden, daughters Queenie Wright, LaTisha & Myrtice. Son James Conuel Wright.

John graduated from Appling County Consolidated High School in 1962. He joined the United States Army in 1962 upon graduating. He served 25 years in the army. He was awarded many medals for his service. After retiring from the army John settled in Buffalo, New York where he worked various jobs.

John then returned to Baxley, GA in 2006 where he married his first love Christine Wright.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Christine Wright-Sease, two daughters Carletha & Princess Wright, one son Ellis James Wright. One aunt Marie Ellis. Two grandchildren LaQuanda & Monique Whitaker. Two great grandchildren MaKayla Wilcox & Michael Whitaker. He will be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, grands, and friends.
