John Henry Thomas

Mr. John Henry Thomas was born on November 9, 1947 in Glennville, Georgia to the late Mr. Robert Thomas and Ms. Doretha Faye. John passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in the Wayne County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Thomas was also preceded in death by his wife: Mrs. Antoinette Thomas; brothers: David Thomas and Edward Wallace. During John Henry and Antoinette's union they helped to raise four kids together. John Henry loved God and his family and will be missed by all who knew him. John Henry served his God as a Deacon and Minister. John Henry leaves to cherish his memory: Mother: Mrs. Verdell Thomas of Surrency, GA. Three (3) daughters: Ms. Belinda Thomas, Ms. Shonda Thomas, Mrs. Tameka (Dexter) Harden and one (1) son: Christopher Thomas all of Atlanta, GA. Four (4) sisters: Beatrice (Jerome) Bell, Sharon (Freddie) King, Teresa (Ronald) Roberts all of Surrency, GA and Christy Thomas of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Five (5) brothers: Edgar (Angela) Thomas, John Elbert (Angela) Thomas both of Baxley, GA. Donald (Debra) Thomas of Columbus, GA, Leavern (Lottie) Thomas of Surrency, GA and Stacy (Tabatha) Thomas of Odum, GA. Aunt: Mrs. Mildred Wallace of Surrency, GA, fourteen (14) grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special Friends: Rev. Fleming Thompson, Jr., Ms. Joyce Thomas and Ms. Mary all of Atlanta, GA.
