It is with deepest sympathy that the staff of the C.M. Brown Funeral Home announces the passing of Ms. Stacey Pearsey who passed on Saturday, September 17th at the Appling Healthcare System in Baxley.
Memorial Service: Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Thankful New Jersey Baptist Church located at 644 North Main Street, Baxley, Georgia - 2:00 P.M.
Ms. Stacey Denise Pearsey was born on September 7, 1974 to Vernard J. Pearsey, Sr. and Pearlie Mae Hood Pearsey. She was ushered into the Lord's arms on September 17, 2016. Stacey graduated from the Appling County Comprehensive High School in 1993.
Shortly after graduation, she attended South Georgia College in Douglas and majored in Criminal Justice. Stacey was preceded in death by her grandparents - Wesley Lumer Pearsey, Johnny Mae Moody, Rooservelt Hood, Sr., Laura Mae Hood; niece and nephew - Trial and Tyon Hunt.
She leaves to cherish her memories Her Children: Bobby Toombs of Atlanta, GA, Coriy Williams and Caleb Pearsey, both of Baxley, GA;
Loving Parents: Vernard, Sr. and Pearlie Mae Pearsey of Baxley, GA; Grandson: Preston Lanier of Baxley, GA;
Brothers: Vernard Pearsey, Jr., Steven Pearsey and Norris Pearsey, all of Baxley, GA;
Sister: Makishi Pearsey of Atlanta, GA;
Special Nephew: Jamarious Pearsey of Baxley, GA; God-children: Tyia, Tierra and Tyanyana Pearsey;
Special Friends: Kutonya King, Sonya McCall and Nicole Bennett. She also leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
