Mr. Moses Yarbrough was born in Baxley, Georgia on November 16, 1943 to the parentage of Mr. George Yarbrough and Mrs. Rosa Yarbrough Brown. On Monday, January 20, 2014 Mr. Yarbrough made his transition at the Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA. Moses attended the Appling County Schools and was employed in the timber industry for many years. Mr. Yarbrough attended the First Assembly Church of God in Baxley under the leadership of Reverend Ronnie Rentz. Mr. Yarbrough was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. George Yarbrough and Mrs. Rosa Yarbrough Brown; son: James Oliver Yarbrough; daughter: Terry Yarbrough; sisters: Bobby Carter Vann, Queen Carter and Annie Laura Sharpe. Brothers: Henry Yarbrough, Curtis McCray and Willie Yarbrough. Great Grandchild: JaTia Ashe'li McCall and niece: Laura Brown. Moses leaves to cherish his memory loving and devoted children: Betty (Ian) Morrissey of Miami, FL; Patricia Yarbrough of Bear, Delaware; Dorothy Yarbrough of Baxley, GA; Abigail (Robert) Bryant of Bristol, GA; Carlos (Kayla) Yarbrough of Baxley, GA and Annie Yarbrough (Perry) Graham of Miami, FL. Sister-in-Law: Florence Givens and Brother-in-Law: Willard "Doug" Sharpe. Special niece: Ida Pearl (Throunell) Johnson. Nieces: Barbara (Donnell) Cray and Janie Brown. Nephews: Charlie (Gladys) Carter, Frank Monroe, George Yarbrough, Douglas Brown, Lawrence Yarbrough and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
