Mr. Darrell Void

Mr. Darrell "Pickle Larry" Void of 96 W Allen St., Baxley, GA, and formerly of Elloree died on October 9, 2015 at Memorial Health Center, Savannah, GA. Mr. Void was born to the late Lillie Void on January 8, 1956 in Miami, FL. He was reared in the home of the late Sammie and Cora Fogle. Pickle, as he was affectionately known by his loving family, was educated in the Orangeburg County School System. He later became a member of the National Guard Reserve, where he gave 20 years of service, while living in Baxley, GA. He was preceded in death by his adoring siblings: Eartha Bell Williams, Eartha Lee Elmore, and Betty Elmore. Darrell is survived by his wife, Vivian Void of Baxley, GA; his brothers, Leon James of St. George, SC and Harold (Sandra Kay) Void of Elloree, SC; sisters, Katie Bell Bull of Eutawville, SC and Tina Williams of Miami, FL; his adoring daughter, Shalonda Benjamin; his special friends, Hattie Smith, Rosalyn Jones and Roy Jones; his loving foster daughters, Chiquita Jones and Latasha Jones. He will be dearly missed by a colossal host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Void, affectionately known as "Pickle Larry Fogle", will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 16, 2015 at Red Hill Baptist Church, 3525 Old State Rd., Santee with Rev. Michael Wright, Pastor officiating. Visitation at Williams Funeral Home of Elloree is scheduled on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 2:30 to 7:00 PM.
