Mr. John Robert "Jr" Thomas

On June 21, 2015, Mr. John Robert Thomas made the transition from earth to glory. Mr. Thomas was born on August 22, 1943 to the late Mr. Iris Thomas and Mrs. Ethel Mae Thomas in Jeff Davis County, Georgia. Mr. Thomas was united in holy matrimony to the late Connie Thomas. He retired from Rayonier after 30 years of faithful service. He was a member of the Fresh Start Ministry, under the leadership of his daughter, Apostle Gloria Hood. In addition to his parents, Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by: his wife--Connie E. Thomas, two daughters--Valerie Thomas and Tarica Wright, sisters--Rabbit William, Mayretta Heard and Alretha Sanders. Mr. Thomas leaves to cherish his memories his children: Angela L. Thomas, Terry D. Thomas, Apostle Gloria Hood (Danny), Gregory D. Thomas and Tamika N. Thomas, all of Baxley, GA, Brenda Thomas, John Thomas, Jr. and Jarvis Thomas, all of Ft. Myers, FL. One Brother: Sam Thomas (Brenda) of Baxley, GA. Two sisters: Ruby Jones (Julius) and Claretha Smith (James), both of Baxley, GA. Son-in-law: Chris Wright of Baxley, GA. Special Friends: Joe Lawson, Marvin Owes and Booker T. Williams, both of Baxley, GA. He also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and other family members. i
