Mr. Joseph Givens

On Thursday July 2, 2015 Joseph Givens made the transition from Earth to Glory at his residence in Baxley, Georgia. Joseph Givens was born April 13, 1952 in Ludowici, Georgia to the late Mr. Dan Givens and Mrs. Patsie Ingerville Givens. Joseph joined St. Matthews Baptist Church at an early age under the pastorate of the late Reverend John Slater. He attended the Appling County Public School System. Mr. Givens was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Dan and Mrs. Patsie Ingerville Givens. Sisters: Doretha Brown, Thelma Riley and Rosa Lee Walthour. Brothers: Eddie Givens, Arcelia Givens and Dan Givens, Jr. Joseph leaves to cherish his memories three (3) Brothers: Perry DeLoach of Washington, D.C., Frank (Joan) Givens of Hazlehurst, GA. and Ruben Givens of Brunswick, GA. Four (4) Sisters: Florence Givens, Mary Dell Hillary, Patsie Marie Givens all of Brunswick, GA. and Mae Helen Lawrence of Woodbine, GA. Favorite niece: Lillian Green and Favorite and Loving Great niece: Paterria Givens and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.i
