Mrs. Alice Harris Williams

Mrs. Alice Marie Harris Williams, 92 was born in Appling County, Georgia on September 11, 1923 to Mr. Elex (SNAP) and Mrs. Josephine Norwood Harris. On Monday, October 5, 2015 Mrs. Williams transitioned to her heavenly home. At an early age Mrs. Williams joined the Rachel Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board Ministry. Mrs. Alice Williams was married to the late Mr. Quitman (SAL) Williams. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents: Elex and Josphine Harris, husband: Quitman Williams; brothers: A.C. Harris Sr., Willie (Bill) Harris and Sam Harris. Sisters: Grace Lee Garden, Mary Lizzie Harris Westpoint, Lula Bell Watson and Edna Harris Wilson. Mrs. Alice Harris Williams leaves to cherish her memories: Sisters: Mrs. Udell (Merriel) Harris Jenkins and Ms. Madie H. Cain both of New York, NY. Favorite Nephew: Lithonia J. Harris of Baxley, Georgia and Special Nephew and Niece: Perry Joel Harris and Luevirdia Harris Gibbs of Jesup, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends. Special friends: Alberta Ryals, Deacon James and Patricia McTier, Martha J. Crosby and Mother Marie Ellis all of Baxley, Georgia.
