Mrs. Marie Mosley Mcmillan

Marie Mosley McMillan, daughter of the late Ivory Shaw and Little Mosley, was born on August 10, 1911. She attended Elementary School in Reidsville, GA and was raised by her grandmother in Tattnall County. Marie was an active member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where she served in the choir and did missionary work. On September 20, 1930, Marie Mosley and Ceaser McMillan were united in Holy Matrimony. They shared together sixty-six years of marriage and together had seven children: Inez (Otis) Castleberry of Baxley, Georgia, Marvin, Clevester, and Sylvester McMillan of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She was preceded in death by three children: Nellie, Eunice, and Morris "Bro" McMillan. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, and 40 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
